About The Position

The Senior IT Security Analyst uses their knowledge of current security methods and standards to gather operational information and assess and analyst tools, systems, and processes in defense of applications, systems, and networks and collaborate with Infrastructure and business teams. The Senior IT Security Analyst is a lead support role for the IT Security team. They will provide mentorship, administrative service and support for monitoring systems, security breaches, providing investigative analysis and supporting incident response plans, security awareness, risk assessments, document review, vendor risk, vulnerability management and threat hunting. They will also engage in the support of other security focused tools and services and other duties as assigned. In addition, they may be asked to assist with risk assessments, forensics analysis, data collection, user training and other security related tasks. Requirements

  • CISSP certification or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • 5 or more years of Information Security experience.
  • Experience across multiple security domains.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across the organization.
  • Experience aligning and managing customer and stakeholder expectations.
  • Ability to work effectively in conceptual design and hands‑on implementation environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience integrating and automating security tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud security practices and modern DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Experience supporting secure CI/CD environments.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze projects, systems, and processes to identify current and emerging security threats and recommend solutions.
  • Consult with business units on security best practices from ideation through retirement of systems and applications.
  • Lead and coordinate remediation efforts across multiple security domains.
  • Integrate security lifecycle practices with development and project teams.
  • Mentor security, technology, and development staff to elevate security awareness and implementation.
  • Design, build, and maintain security standards, tools, and processes.
  • Evaluate, test, and implement security‑focused products and services.
