This position can be 100% remote anywhere in the US. ICF is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, multifaceted consulting company seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to support our Department of Defense (DoD) Child and Youth Programs (CYP) program. ICF works with government representatives and users to build and enhance CYP systems. The DoD recognizes the importance of providing military and DoD-affiliated families with access to quality, affordable childcare programs. Access to childcare directly affects the efficiency, mission readiness, morale, and retention of DoD personnel worldwide.

Requirements

  • 7+ years - Java development experience with a strong understanding of best practices, design patterns, clean code, and unit/integration testing.
  • 5+ years – Frontend development with frameworks such as Angular or React (React preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience writing and debugging SQL queries and building applications that integrate with relational databases such as SQL Server.
  • 2+ years – working with REST APIs.
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • 2+ years of experience in DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with Azure Cloud
  • US Citizenship is required (required by the federal government for this position).
  • Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.

Nice To Haves

  • Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
