Role Summary Are you a strategic program leader who thrives on orchestrating complex initiatives while building high-performing teams? We are seeking a Senior Launch Program Manager to elevate and scale our launch function by driving operational excellence, cross-functional alignment, and measurable business outcomes across our product development and go-to-market lifecycle. In this role, you will own the end-to-end launch program strategy — from planning and readiness through execution, adoption measurement, and post-launch optimization. You will serve as both a strategic architect and an operational leader, aligning Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Implementation, Client Services, Finance, and RCM teams around a disciplined, outcome-driven launch framework. As the direct leader of Launch Operations and related roles, you will provide clear direction, prioritization, and coaching to build a high-performing, accountable launch organization. You will establish governance, define readiness criteria, drive product-led communication strategy, and implement data-driven measurement practices that ensure launches are clearly communicated, aligned to customer value, and measured through actionable insights. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, operations, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in launch program management, product operations, or go-to-market roles within a SaaS or enterprise software environment
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional enterprise launch initiatives end-to-end
  • Demonstrated success defining launch readiness frameworks, managing scope and risk, and driving structured decision-making
  • Experience leading product-led communication strategies and measuring adoption and engagement outcomes
  • People management experience, including direct leadership of program or operations roles
  • Strong analytical skills with experience translating data into executive-ready insights and recommendations
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while scaling repeatable processes
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing initiatives
  • Proven ability to interpret business challenges and recommend strategic, outcome-driven solutions
  • Personal track record of being thorough, decisive, and professional in high-visibility situations

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end launch program strategy, from planning through post-launch evaluation
  • Define and coordinate launch readiness criteria, milestones, risks, and dependencies across cross-functional teams
  • Lead internal launch enablement, ensuring Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Support, Implementation, Finance, and RCM teams are aligned, trained, and equipped
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve launch risks and tradeoffs to protect customer experience and business outcomes
  • Own and lead the product-led communication strategy for launches, ensuring messaging is clear, timely, and aligned to customer value
  • Define communication objectives, audience segmentation, timing, and success measures for in-app announcements, enablement, and phased rollouts
  • Partner with Client Success Program Managers to deliver quarterly and on‑demand organizational boot camps for feature releases and sellable launches, supporting Sales and Marketing strategy and launch artifacts
  • Provide strategic direction to Launch Operations on execution of product-led communications across Pendo and related tooling
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Implementation, and Client Services to ensure cohesive internal and customer-facing launch messaging
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define launch success metrics and track adoption, engagement, retention, customer sentiment, and operational impact
  • Own post-launch measurement, retrospectives, and lessons learned to continuously improve launch effectiveness
  • Partner with Launch Operations to design, maintain, and interpret launch performance dashboards
  • Present clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to Product and Executive leadership
  • Establish and own the launch operating cadence, including launch calendars, readiness checkpoints, and retrospectives
  • Facilitate recurring launch reviews, cross-functional status updates, and leadership communications
  • Continuously refine and scale launch frameworks, templates, and best practices
  • Directly manage the Launch Operations Manager and support the growth of additional launch-related roles
  • Set clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations for the launch function
  • Coach and develop team members to build a high-performing, accountable launch organization
  • Drive clarity, alignment, and accountability across the product development and go-to-market lifecycle
  • Champion a culture of customer empathy, transparency, and data-driven decision-making
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance launch quality, consistency, and speed-to-value
