Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience with Workday implementations.
  • Experience in ideating, developing, and maintaining custom Workday Extend applications.
  • Strong UI/UX design skills for customer-facing interfaces.
  • Ability to work closely with Business, HR, IT, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience with Workday Integrations, APIs (Rest and SOAP), and Workday Security.
  • Ability to ensure security and reliability in Workday Extend applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Workday Extend and Workday Integrations certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR technology, focusing on Workday Extend.
  • Strong technical skills in XML, XSLT, Web services, SOAP, REST, JSON, JavaScript.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical information dissemination.

Responsibilities

  • Implement identified components based on design documentation and functional programming specifications.
  • Ensure that implemented components are documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration.
  • Architect solutions, test code, and deploy and build CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide work estimates for assigned development work.
  • Guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties.
  • Manage the testing and deployment of Workday Extend applications.
  • Stay up to date with Workday releases and new features.
