About The Position

The Senior Learning Operations Specialist is responsible for scaling learning delivery through AI-enabled content production, operational governance, and data-driven insight. This role owns the systems, workflows, and standards that allow the Learning & Development function to deliver high-quality learning at speed and scale—without increasing headcount. By leveraging AI tools such as Articulate AI Assistant and Microsoft Copilot, this role transforms how learning content is created, prioritized, governed, and measured. The position serves as the operational backbone of L&D, enabling instructional designers, facilitators, and leaders to focus on strategy and learner impact.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in learning operations, learning systems, project management, or related roles
  • Strong experience working with:
  • Learning Management Systems
  • AI-assisted content development tools
  • AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT)
  • Proven ability to manage complex workflows and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
  • High comfort level with technology

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operationalizing AI tools within L&D or HR
  • Background in content creation and learning technology
  • Experience building dashboards or executive-ready reports
  • Exposure to compliance, accessibility, or regulated learning environments

Responsibilities

  • AI-ENABLED LEARNING CONTENT OPERATIONS
  • Assist L&D Director in overseeing the end-to-end AI-assisted content production model for L&D
  • Define and maintain standards for: AI-generated outlines, scripts, assessments, and microlearning, tone, quality, accessibility, and instructional consistency
  • Develop and manage: Prompt libraries and reusable templates, content production playbooks and guidelines
  • Partner with L&D team members to: Accelerate first drafts, reduce rework, and increase reuse of learning assets
  • Measure and report on: time-to-first-draft, content throughput, AI adoption and efficiency gains
  • LEARNING DEMAND, INTAKE & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Own the learning request intake and prioritization process
  • Partner with L&D Director to: Prioritize incoming requests, assign projects to appropriate team members, oversee ongoing projects and status updates
  • Maintain a transparent learning portfolio that tracks: Demand vs capacity, progress and delivery timelines, resource utilization
  • Provide L&D Director with visibility into: What work is being done, why it matters, what tradeoffs are required
  • LEARNING SYSTEMS, LMS & ANALYTICS LEADERSHIP
  • Serve as the functional owner of the LMS and related learning systems
  • Move LMS usage beyond administration into insight and decision support
  • Define and maintain: Data standards and reporting definitions, dashboards and recurring reports for leaders
  • Analyze learning data to surface: Adoption trends, completion vs effectiveness indicators, opportunities to improve learning design or delivery
  • Ensure data accuracy, audit readiness, and system reliability
  • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & BUSINESS IMPACT
  • Identify opportunities to: Automate manual tasks, reduce cycle time, increase scalability
  • Translate operational improvements into: Time saved, capacity gained, risk reduced
  • Partner with L&D leadership to align learning operations with enterprise priorities
