Nice To Haves

  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration, on Dell and virtual (VMware) hardware.
  • Familiarity with scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in isolated environments.
  • Ability to work independently without reliance on internet resources or external support.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with ITSM processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day platform maintenance tasks in a secure, isolated environment.
  • Design and engineer systems and solutions as per the latest standards and needs.
  • Build new systems (Install OS, configure and setup).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently without external assistance or online resources.
  • Manage and maintain Linux systems, ensuring stability and compliance.
  • Administer, configure and maintain VMware vCenter and virtual machine infrastructure.
  • Oversee Windows Server environments, including patching and performance optimization.
  • Implement and manage Commvault backup solutions for data protection and recovery.
  • Maintain and optimize Nimble Storage Arrays, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability and security
