About The Position

Review, analyze, plan and schedule outage and non-outage corrective, predictive, and preventative work orders to be performed by Maintenance, Operations and Contractors. Develop and maintain all aspects of the Work Asset Cloud management program for SCCF as it relates to maintenance activities. Develop, plan, schedule coordinate, and monitor annual Maintenance outages. Oversee the initiation, evaluation, tracking, and execution of all Maintenance-based contracts. Assist the Manager of Maintenance with budget development, forecasting, and expenditure tracking. Responsible for purchases, requisitions, and invoicing for all Maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following skilled crafts: mechanical, instrumentation, or electrical maintenance.
  • A minimum of two (2) years in scheduling and planning maintenance of power generation equipment is required.
  • Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Technical knowledge in: mechanical/instrumentation/electrical maintenance specialties.

  • Read and interpret mechanical/electrical/instrument control drawings/manuals/schematics
  • Research, evaluation, and analysis of bid documents, quotes, and contracts.

  • Must be able to lift heavy objects on occasions, up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Manager of Maintenance with all aspects of SCCF units Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA)
  • Supervises maintenance employees from time to time as needed.
  • Assists Operations as an Outside Operator (Tech 1) as needed.
  • Detailed planning and scheduling of Maintenance and Operations Corrective, Predictive, and Preventative workup to one (1) year. General planning and scheduling of Corrective, Predictive, and Preventative work up to three (3) years
  • Processes, classifies and monitors work orders to equate the task with priorities assigned by Operations’ Shift Supervisors.
  • Provides a safe and productive work environment for team members congruent with Seminole’s desired culture and in full support of Seminole’s purpose, core values, core competencies and organizational goals
  • Research blueprints, drawings, parts, procedures, and instruction manuals for planning and scheduling activities.
  • Provides detailed outage and non-outage work order scopes to include the following: technical job steps , clearance requirements, material requirements, labor requirements, contractor requirements, and departmental interface obligations.
  • Recommend technical changes, modifications, procedure reviews, and professional assistance to the Operations and Engineering groups when required.
  • Works in Seminole’s Work Asset Cloud Service (WACS) to implement preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs. This is the main point of contact for all asset management inquiries and training opportunities.
  • Produces outage and non-outage reports as needed or recommended.
  • Writes, reviews, and recommends updates to job procedures as directed.
  • Modifies maintenance forms and instructions as needed.
  • Leads weekly scheduling meetings for Maintenance and Operations activities.
  • Tracks and reports schedule compliance on a weekly basis.
  • Oversee Maintenance Outage activities to include the following: planning, scheduling, progress tracking, meetings, reports, and coordination efforts.
  • Coordinates planning and scheduling of contractors for outage and non-outage tasks, including O&M and Expense Projects. Is the Single Point of Contact for on-site Maintenance contractors.
  • Assists the Manager of Maintenance with the construction of the annual O&M and Expense budgets. Maintains the annual budget spreadsheet for the Maintenance department. Provides monthly progress reports for expenditures to the Manager of Maintenance.
  • Assists the Maintenance Supervisor with the Management of Change (MOC) process.
  • Purchases materials, equipment, and services using the following: P-cards, Purchase Requisitions, and Contracts.
  • Coordinates with Materials Management, Supply Management, Contract Management, and Engineering groups as required.
  • Assists the warehouseman with delivery status updates and change request approvals. Reviews items to be added to stock. Makes recommendations as to the staging of parts and equipment as needed.
  • Performs other duties as applicable to the position or as assigned.
  • NERC Compliance: Performs NERC Compliance Program roles if/as designated in Seminole's Standard Ownership Matrix (SOM) including ongoing evidence retention in "audit-ready" form. You should also be familiar with Seminole's Enterprise Internal Compliance Program (ENT-GCD-RGC-EP-054) to further your understanding of Seminole's compliance program and your duties and responsibilities in the SOM.
