About The Position

Own end-to-end measurement and reporting for store initiatives and pilots. Build trusted datasets and exec-ready dashboards that explain performance shifts (pre/post, test vs. network) across customer and operational KPIs.

Requirements

  • Strong SQL (BigQuery) for analytic modeling, validation, and performance-aware queries.
  • Business Intelligence expertise - Tableau or Power BI (data model, DAX basics/metrics, dashboard design for leadership).
  • Experience with experimentation/causal measurement concepts (bias, seasonality, control selection).
  • Python or Java for data transformation, automation, and simulation / what-if modeling (reproducible, testable code).
  • Clear communication: concise insights, assumptions, limitations, and action-oriented narratives.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and 4 years’ experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area.
  • Option 2: 6 years’ experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Retail/store operations analytics experience.
  • Familiarity with satisfaction, transaction time, basket size, repeat-customer behavior metrics.
  • Experience building WBR/MBR reporting packages and governance for metric definitions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain BigQuery datasets (visit/store/week level), including joins across customer behavior and experience metrics.
  • Build Power BI dashboards and WBR-style reporting with clear visual layout, consistent metric definitions, and automated refreshes.
  • Create/maintain Python pipelines to standardize KPI calculations (WoW/YoY/T13W), QA checks, and repeatable outputs.
  • Design and execute pre/post and test vs control measurement for pilots; define cutoffs, cohorts, and success metrics.
  • Build or support simulation tooling (scenario, sensitivity, and what-if analysis) to estimate impact under different assumptions.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into analyses and recommendations; document methodology and metric logic.
