About The Position

We are seeking a creative Freelance Brand Partnerships to join our team. You will lead high-impact collaborations that drive awareness, access, and trust in our mission. Reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Partnerships within the Brand & Marketing org, throughout your contract, you’ll own key relationships across wellness, tech, fitness, retail, travel, and beyond, with a focus on execution and scale. You’ll bring strategic clarity, operational rigor, and a bias toward action to everything you touch, from identifying opportunities to launching standout campaigns. You’ve built and closed partnerships end-to-end. You know how to work cross-functionally to bring ideas to life. And you’re motivated by the idea of helping millions live longer, healthier lives, not just with marketing buzz, but with measurable member growth and meaningful results. The ideal candidate is strategic, creative, detail-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in brand partnerships, business development, or strategic account management
  • Proven ability to source, close, and scale multi-faceted partnerships in fast-moving environments
  • Excellent communication skill,s written, verbal, and visual, with experience interfacing with senior stakeholders
  • Experience working with contract and legal teams to complete agreements
  • Strong analytical and commercial instincts: you know how to evaluate opportunities and make smart, fast decisions
  • Understand relevant health and wellness industry trends through continued research, specifically with an eye on content development and media-worthy partnerships

Nice To Haves

  • High growth-stage and or beloved consumer brand experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working not only on brand-focused partnerships but also on ones that drive customer acquisition at scale

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage end to end a qualified pipeline of brand partnerships that align with Function’s business goals and brand values
  • Lead negotiations and deal structuring, ensuring all contracts are mutually beneficial and strategically sound
  • Drive execution across teams, including marketing, growth, product, and legal, bringing partnerships from idea to execution
  • Create frameworks to evaluate growth impact, brand advantages, measure success, and optimize impact
  • Leverage market research, audience insights, and performance metrics to build strategy, fuel decision making, refine our current approach, and measure performance of all partnerships
  • Act as an advisor and external face of Function in key partner conversations
