ROLE SUMMARY: Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing, Phorm, the Senior Communications Manager – Phorm, will serve as the brand steward for Phorm. This role owns the intersection of flavor strategy, consumer insights, and can (packaging) marketing. You’ll translate consumer trends, performance data, and cultural cues into winning flavors while ensuring every can tells a compelling story on shelf and in hand. From concept to launch, you’ll help shape what we make and how it shows up.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years in CPG, beverage, or food innovation/brand marketing
  • Strong understanding of flavor trends, consumer insights, and packaging strategy
  • Experience launching new products or flavors end-to-end
  • Ability to turn data into clear creative direction
  • Passion for beverage culture, taste, and challenger brands

Responsibilities

  • Flavor Insights & Strategy Lead flavor trend discovery using consumer insights, market data, and cultural signals
  • Identify white-space opportunities and recommend new flavor concepts
  • Partner with key stakeholders to guide flavor development, testing, and optimization
  • Own flavor performance analysis post-launch (velocity, repeat, feedback)
  • Build flavor roadmaps aligned with brand strategy and retail priorities
  • Can & Packaging Marketing Own can storytelling—from flavor naming to on-can copy and visual cues
  • Translate flavor insights into compelling, shelf-stopping packaging
  • Partner with design teams to develop can graphics that drive trial and recognition
  • Ensure packaging aligns with brand voice, claims, and regulatory requirements
  • Optimize cans for different channels (convenience, grocery, e-comm, limited editions)
  • Launch & Cross-Functional Leadership Lead go-to-market planning for new flavors and limited releases
  • Support innovation sell-in decks with insight-backed flavor and packaging rationale
  • Work closely with key stakeholder teams to ensure timelines, costs, and feasibility
