About The Position

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation. We're seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting to own our most complex accounting domains and set the standard for close quality and financial controls. As we scale through Series D and into our next phase of growth — with an active audit and increasing reporting complexity — this role will be foundational to building the accounting infrastructure our business needs to operate at the next level.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of accounting experience in high-growth technology or SaaS, with meaningful time in a close ownership or technical accounting role
  • Deep working knowledge of US GAAP — ASC 718, 842, 340-40, and 350-40 are table stakes here
  • Strong technical accounting research and memo-writing skills; you can defend a position clearly
  • Active CPA required; Big 4 or large regional firm background strongly preferred
  • Proven experience leading a financial close and holding a team to a high reconciliation standard
  • Comfortable in a lean, fast-moving environment where you build process rather than inherit it
  • Proficiency with Campfire, NetSuite, or comparable ERP

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Ramp, Carta / Shareworks, or close management tools like FloQast or Numeric
  • S-1, SOX, or pre-IPO audit readiness experience
  • You've used Replit — even better if you've built something with it

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly and quarterly financial close — own the calendar, drive the cadence, set the standard
  • Own balance sheet reconciliation quality across the team — not just review, but define what good looks like
  • Cross-functional accounting partnership — serve as the primary accounting liaison to HR, Legal, and FP&A on matters impacting the financial close and reporting
  • Primary resource for complex transactions, accounting memos, and new standard assessments
  • Financial reporting — board packages, 10-K/10-Q equivalent disclosures, and internal management reporting
  • Equity accounting — SBC expense under ASC 718, option activity, cap table coordination, and 409A support
  • Leases & capitalized software — ASC 842 lease register and ASC 350-40 internal-use software
  • Commissions — capitalization and amortization under ASC 340-40
  • Primary coordinator for audit and external tax advisors across all owned areas
  • Own the PBC list, audit readiness, and technical accounting positions through to sign-off

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary & Equity
  • 401(k) Program with a 4% match
  • Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance
  • Short Term and Long Term Disability
  • Paid Parental, Medical, Caregiver Leave
  • Commuter Benefits
  • Monthly Wellness Stipend
  • Autonomous Work Environment
  • In Office Set-Up Reimbursement
  • Flexible Time Off (FTO) + Holidays
  • Quarterly Team Gatherings
  • In Office Amenities
