About The Position

Alex + Ani is looking for someone to drive incremental revenue through new partnerships and expanded distribution across a range of channels. This role focuses on sourcing, negotiating, and closing new business, as well as managing renewals and expansions with existing partners.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or similar commercial roles within consumer, retail, or e-commerce
  • Proven experience sourcing, negotiating, and closing revenue-generating deals across different partnership models
  • Comfortable owning conversations with external partners and reviewing and understanding legal contracts to negotiate favorable business terms
  • Experience working cross-functionally with legal, finance, and merch teams
  • Strong judgment, organization, and follow-through
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Able to operate independently while staying aligned with broader company goals

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and source new partnerships and distribution opportunities across multiple channels
  • Own deal conversations from initial outreach through negotiation and contract execution
  • Negotiate commercial terms, partnering with legal and finance as needed
  • Coordinate handoff to internal teams once agreements are signed
  • Lead renewals and expansions with existing partners to drive incremental revenue
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and provide visibility into deal status and timing
  • Build strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders
  • Stay close to market and partner trends to identify new opportunities
