Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years of facilities management experience, including leadership of multi-site or corporate facilities.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and facilities operations.
• Experience managing capital projects, budgets, and vendor contracts.
• Knowledge of workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and building codes.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilities Operations & Maintenance: Oversee day-to-day operations of company facilities, including maintenance, repairs, janitorial, security, and landscaping services.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and ensure all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety) are fully operational.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to facilities and workplace safety.
• Strategic Planning & Workplace Management: Lead space planning initiatives to optimize workspace utilization and support company growth.
• Develop and execute long-term facilities strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Plan and coordinate office expansions, relocations, and reconfigurations.
• Capital Projects & Construction: Manage renovation, construction, and tenant improvement projects from planning through execution.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to specifications.
• Track project budgets, timelines, and vendor performance.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Oversee relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor service level agreements, and ensure vendor performance meets expectations.
• Compliance, Safety & Sustainability: Maintain regulatory compliance for all facilities operations, including fire, environmental, and occupational safety standards.
• Implement sustainability initiatives, energy management, and efficiency programs.
• Support emergency preparedness and business continuity planning.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop facilities staff and cross-functional project teams.
• Establish priorities, performance goals, and development plans for direct reports.
• Collaborate with departments such as IT, HR, Security, and Operations on facility-related initiatives.
