About the position

As Senior Manager, Global Marketing for Redken, you will report to the AVP Pod Lead and play a pivotal role in driving the brand's global growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for new product launches and the ongoing animation of existing product lines, ensuring alignment with Redken's brand vision and L'Oréal Professional Products' commitment to sustainable innovation and customer-centricity. You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including R&I, CMI, and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global product launch strategies, ensuring seamless execution across all channels (professional, consumer, e-commerce).
  • Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for portfolio optimization, including formula, packaging, and claims development.
  • Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, identifying opportunities and threats to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with R&I, CMI, and other internal teams to ensure alignment on product development, testing, and marketing initiatives.
  • Work with sustainability partners to develop and implement sustainable product and packaging solutions.
  • Manage budgets effectively, optimizing spending to maximize ROI and improve gross margin.
  • Collaborate with campaign and content managers to provide product expertise and ensure that marketing materials effectively communicate product benefits and brand messaging.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the professional beauty industry, including hair color, hair care, and hair styling products.
  • 5-8 years of relevant marketing experience in the beauty industry, with a strong track record of successful product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of financial principles and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
