Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? We have an exciting onsite work opportunity for an Senior Manager, Global Trade Site Lead in Middletown, Connecticut! In this highly visible role as a Senior Manager, Global Trade Site Lead, you will partner with your assigned business units to ensure compliance with Global Trade rules and regulations. This role will work closely with Operations and Core Legal Global Trade teams to provide guidance and resolve Global Trade issues. Primary functions include, but are not limited to, maintaining a site presence, integrating with the leadership team, providing site training, performing internal audits with identification of any corrective actions, lead/facilitate export investigations/DAISEs, in addition to safeguarding International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) data and technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of global trade experience, including knowledge of U.S. ITAR and EAR regulations; OR Advanced degree with 7+ years of global trade experience, including knowledge of U.S. ITAR and EAR regulations
  • U.S. citizenship, due to government contracts

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Global Trade contact for AutoAir-Holt, Pratt and Whitney Manufacturing Singapore (PWMS), Cold Section Module Center (CSMC), Product Delivery Center (PDC), and the Finland Final Assembly and Check Out (FACO) facilities, providing comprehensive support across all sites
  • Partner with business stakeholders across the network to identify, assess, and manage global trade issues, opportunities, and ensure compliance with the Consent Agreement and audit requirements
  • Act as the Global Trade Site Lead, collaborating closely with site leadership to manage day-to-day global trade activities, including all Consent Agreement-related tasks for Operations
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to support business strategy and growth initiatives, such as automations, transitions, expansions, and acquisitions, as needed
