About the position

This role offers the opportunity to lead content marketing strategy and execution for a fast-growing SaaS organization. The Senior Manager will own the content calendar, create compelling assets across multiple formats, and drive engagement with target audiences throughout the buyer journey. The position requires a balance of creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical rigor to guide campaigns, optimize performance, and support sales and marketing objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, manage internal and external content resources, and leverage innovative approaches—including AI—to deliver impactful results. This role emphasizes audience-centric storytelling, operational excellence, and continuous optimization within a collaborative, remote-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the overall content calendar using audience insights, personas, keyword research, campaign plans, and content performance analytics.
  • Produce primary and derivative content assets—such as reports, blogs, infographics, videos, executive summaries, webinars—for use across channels and campaigns.
  • Analyze and report on content marketing performance using KPIs and digital analytics tools, informing and optimizing future campaigns.
  • Support SEO and search engine marketing initiatives through content tagging, keyword optimization, and metadata management.
  • Implement content marketing best practices and innovate with AI and other technologies to enhance reach and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate, repurpose, and distribute content strategically.
  • Manage internal content marketing resources, agencies, consultants, and freelancers as needed to ensure high-quality output.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of content marketing or related experience, ideally in manufacturing, distribution, or vertical SaaS industries.
  • Hands-on experience with content creation, planning, and execution across the buyer journey.
  • Proven ability to develop engaging content that drives pipeline growth and measurable business results.
  • Strong project management skills, coordinating internal and external content contributors and managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and consensus-building skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new business domains and distill complex concepts into accessible, compelling content.
  • Knowledge of keyword research, technical SEO, and digital content optimization.
  • Creative, analytical, and strategic mindset with a passion for innovative content marketing approaches.
