The Human Rights Clinic is part of Miami Law School’s dynamic clinical program in which law students work on cases and projects. Our clinics are taught by faculty who are experts and trailblazers in their field. Under close faculty supervision, students function as the lead lawyers responsible for all aspects of cases and projects. The Human Rights Clinic works for the promotion of social and economic justice globally and in the U.S. through litigation and advocacy at the local, national, regional, and international levels. The Human Rights Program provides a preeminent training ground for the study and practice of human rights law. The Program serves as the hub for a vibrant human rights community across the university, connecting faculty, students, alumni, advocates, and community members, and facilitating multidisciplinary collaboration. The senior manager oversees the day-to-day management of the Human Rights Clinic and Human Rights Program within the law school and works to ensure the successful implementation of all educational initiatives – such as student registration, course management, clinic projects and cases, program events, communications, finances, and web/social media development. Furthermore, the senior manager serves as the liaison between faculty and the various administrative systems at the university. The manager works in a dynamic clinical space alongside law professors, senior managers, and support staff.
