Together, we’re shaping the future of automotive and industrial solutions.  Job PurposeThe Senior Manager, IT – Data Integrations, serves as the enterprise leader for data and application integration strategy, governance, and delivery. This role drives the modernization and unification of integration capabilities across business, manufacturing, and cloud ecosystems, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable data flows. In addition to deep technical acumen, this leader excels at building and inspiring a matrixed, cross-functional data management organization, establishing a culture of engineering excellence and shared accountability.   They define platform roadmaps, champion standards, and create reusable components and frameworks that other delivery teams leverage to accelerate outcomes. This role is pivotal in shaping how data moves across the enterprise, reducing friction, improving interoperability, and enabling high-quality insights across manufacturing, logistics, and business operations.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in B2B integration patterns – example EDI - especially 850, 855, 856, 810 - inbound and outbound - 210, 858 - freight and freight payment related
  • SAP Event Mesh and SAP API integrations
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in integration engineering leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead cross-functional, matrixed teams delivering enterprise-scale data integration services.
  • Expertise in EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, AS2) and B2B integration technologies (MuleSoft, OpenText, WebMethods, Azure Integration Services, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of API lifecycle management, event-driven architectures, and hybrid integration scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience integrating SAP, Salesforce, SuccessFactors, and Databricks’ environments.
  • Deep experience developing integration governance, reusable libraries, and platform standards for enterprise adoption.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive influencing skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with RPA, AI orchestration, and automation tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) is advantageous.
  • Preferred certifications: MuleSoft Integration Architect, WebMethods Professional, Azure Integration Architect, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, evolution, and execution of enterprise data integration and B2B connectivity ecosystem across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Establish a modern, matrix-oriented integration and data management team, fostering collaboration between engineering, data, and platform teams.
  • Define and maintain multi-year platform roadmaps for integration, API management, and B2B data exchange capabilities.
  • Drive creation and adoption of reusable components, design patterns, and integration frameworks that improve delivery speed and quality.
  • Oversee and modernize EDI capabilities supporting trading partners, logistics providers, and suppliers, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance.
  • Lead integration of key enterprise systems, including Mulesoft, SAP, Salesforce, SuccessFactors, and Databricks, into a unified data and process architecture.
  • Manage Mulesoft, WebMethods, OpenText Trading Grid, and API Gateway platforms, ensuring alignment to enterprise standards and governance models.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics teams to deliver Industry 4.0–aligned data integrations, connecting shopfloor, IoT, MES, and ERP systems for end-to-end visibility.
  • Promote RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and emerging AI agent orchestration technologies to reduce manual intervention and streamline data operations.
  • Develop and evangelize integration best practices, patterns, and governance frameworks that are adopted across IT and business delivery teams.
  • Partner with Architecture, Security, and Data Governance to ensure integrations meet enterprise quality, reliability, and compliance standards.
  • Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and career development for integration engineers, fostering continuous improvement in technical depth, delivery quality, and professional growth.
  • Serve as a thought leader and change agent, aligning integration strategy to digital transformation, automation, and advanced analytics initiatives.
