About the position

Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Manager, IT Product Management in Dallas, TX. The role involves leading a team of Product Managers and Analysts to define and prioritize features, enhancements, and initiatives based on strategic goals and business feedback. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and requirements, translating them into a clear product vision, solution, and roadmap. The Senior Manager will act as the voice of the business during sprint planning, ensuring that engineering teams understand and deliver on business expectations. Additionally, the role includes mentoring and guiding Product Owners and Analysts to iterate on product enhancements and innovations, conducting in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscapes. The candidate will oversee End-to-End (E2E) and User Acceptance Training (UAT) efforts, validating that deliverables meet quality standards and address user requirements. The role also plays a key part in the hire and fire process, supervising direct staff and their work product, and managing the team to assign appropriate tasks to meet deadlines and team goals. Telecommuting is an option.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), Business Administration, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
