About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Managed Care Contracting. In this pivotal role, you will drive the managed care process and contribute to the growth of Local Infusion by developing effective payer strategies. You will work collaboratively across various teams to ensure the efficient execution of contracting activities, while strengthening relationships with key health plans and payers. This opportunity allows you to make a significant impact in the infusion space and enhance the company's strategic objectives through effective negotiating and relationship management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Health Care.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in managed care contracting or provider network management.
  • Proven experience negotiating contracts with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Managed Care, and commercial payers.
  • Understanding of reimbursement strategies and value-based payment models.
  • Knowledge of national payer landscapes, especially in the east coast & midwest.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to analyze data, develop solutions and implement changes.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, develop, negotiate, and monitor contracts including renewals, amendments, and new agreements.
  • Facilitate relationships with health plan partners and communicate value creation effectively.
  • Oversee claims processing, appeals management, and utilization management.
  • Ensure effective communication of contract information with operational and revenue cycle teams.
  • Coordinate Managed Care Contracting efforts with newly acquired organizations.
  • Stay informed on regulatory requirements impacting managed care contracting.
