About the position

Walmart Marketplace is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Senior Manager of Product Marketing to lead go-to-market and ongoing marketing efforts that drive awareness, adoption, and sustained engagement with key seller-facing products and features. In this role, you'll translate product capabilities into compelling value propositions for our sellers, develop positioning and messaging frameworks, and lead cross-functional marketing initiatives that accelerate business outcomes for sellers as they bring more great items to our customers. You'll serve as the connective tissue between Product, Seller Success, Lifecycle Marketing, Seller Education, Marketing Operations, Creative and Channel teams-crafting strategies that put the seller at the center and ensure they understand why and how to use new capabilities to grow their businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Own product positioning and messaging for priority seller-facing features, translating complex functionality into clear, benefit-driven narratives tailored to seller needs.
  • Lead marketing strategies for go-to-market and extended phases of high-priority launches and enhancements-consulting and aligning stakeholders across Product, Seller Success, Marketing, Education, Operations and other business partners to ensure successful adoption.
  • Develop campaign toolkits and enablement materials, including briefs, value props, FAQ sheets, in-product messaging inputs, and engaging copy and creative across owned channels.
  • Build marketing briefs that align with Lifecycle, External Marketing and Channel teams to execute integrated campaigns across email, SMS, Seller Center, in-app experiences and external owned channels.
  • Partner with Analytics to define success metrics, track campaign performance, and inform optimizations.
  • Inform seller segmentation and personas to ensure messaging is personalized and relevant to sellers at different lifecycle stages and business types.
  • Bring the voice of the seller into every product and marketing conversation-advocating for clarity, simplicity, and value creation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or go-to-market roles in a B2B, SaaS, or marketplace environment
  • Demonstrated success in owning product positioning, messaging, and launch plans across multiple channels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Lifecycle Marketing, Analytics, and Creative teams
  • Familiarity with marketing performance metrics and testing approaches

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in e-commerce or marketplace businesses
  • Exposure to seller or small business personas
  • Understanding of CRM channels (email, in-app, push, SMS) and product education tactics
