About The Position

Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Entertainment Next Gen – In-Store Experience program. This role will define and execute the strategy to modernize and elevate the in-store entertainment experience across gaming, streaming, consumer electronics, computing, audio, and emerging digital ecosystems. This leader will translate entertainment trends into scalable in-store concepts that drive traffic, engagement, and incremental revenue while strengthening Walmart’s position as the destination for entertainment discovery. What you'll do... Own the strategic roadmap for next-generation entertainment in-store initiatives. Develop and pilot innovative merchandising concepts, interactive experiences, and cross-category activations. Lead high-impact launches and exclusive programs with key entertainment and gaming partners. Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Store Operations, Marketing, Real Estate, and Finance partners, and Fixture Suppliers. Scale successful pilots across regions and divisions. What You’ll Bring 8+ years of experience in retail merchandising, category management, or in-store innovation. Strong business acumen with demonstrated ownership of Project Management. Experience managing new initiatives and launching across store initiatives. Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a complex retail environment. Strategic mindset with operational execution capability. Success in This Role Looks Like Strong program governance with clear roadmaps, milestones, risk management, and executive-ready reporting. On-time, on-budget delivery of pilots and national rollouts through disciplined PMO execution. Clear alignment across Merchandising, Store Operations, Marketing, Real Estate, Finance partners and Fixture Suppliers. Effective cross-functional decision-making that reduces friction and accelerates execution. Well-defined playbooks and scalable processes enabling consistent implementation across store formats.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in retail merchandising, category management, or in-store innovation.
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated ownership of Project Management.
  • Experience managing new initiatives and launching across store initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a complex retail environment.
  • Strategic mindset with operational execution capability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Merchandising, or related field and 4 years’ experience in business management, merchandising, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in business management, merchandising, or related area.
