About The Position

As a Senior Manager of Technical Program Management (TPM) in Capital One's Card Tech+ organization, we're looking for someone to help manage our integration with Discover. You will work to support technical execution details as we develop an amazing experience for our customers. This role will partner with other TPMs across Card and CapitalOne as we build the foundation of a successful Card integration. In addition to the technical program, you will also work to pave the way for an expanding TPM discipline within the team, by leveraging your industry knowledge and experience to teach the organization what a great TPM can achieve.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 5 years of experience managing technical programs.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing.
• 3+ years of experience in building distributed systems & highly available services using cloud computing services / architecture - preferably using AWS.
• 3+ years experience building highly scalable mobile products & platforms.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery.
• 3+ years experience delivering large and complex programs.
• Experience in building systems & solutions within a highly regulated environment.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering).

Responsibilities

• Manage integration with Discover and support technical execution details.
• Partner with other TPMs across Card and CapitalOne.
• Build the foundation of a successful Card integration.
• Expand the TPM discipline within the team.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery life-cycle.
• Drive well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science representatives.
