The Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) organization is looking for a Senior Manager, Operations & Supply Chain for Precision Strike Programs. This candidate will be responsible for developing and executing supply chain & operations strategies, proposals, & program execution. The position requires the ability to exert influence on overall objectives and long-range goals of the programs. This position involves direct management of Material Program Managers (MPMs) and Program Operations Managers (POMs), supporting manufacturing activities and is based in Tucson, AZ.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
  • Minimum 8 years experience in a supply chain role.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with transition of programs from design to manufacturing.
  • Supervisory, people manager, and/or team lead in matrixed organization.
  • Experience interfacing with external customers and all levels of internal management.
  • Experience with Six Sigma/CORE tools and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for OSC cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Perform as people manager of both MPM’s and POM’s.
  • Manage, develop and lead OSC proposal activities including task descriptions and BOEs.
  • Interface with internal and external Customers ensuring satisfactory standards of service.
  • Coordinate & develop OSC requirements for all gate reviews & execute proposed strategies.
  • Overall ownership of the Supplier Management process.
  • Implement and drive process improvements that result in a healthy value chain for development and production programs.
  • Manage budgets and schedules.
  • Create and host presentations of OSC activities, plans, tasks, and/or delivery outlooks and program-level information to internal and external customers.
  • Lead collaborative teams on tactical and strategic discussions to drive results and break down barriers.
  • Travel domestically and internationally.

  • The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
