ST Engineering is located in Pensacola, FL, at the Pensacola International Airport. We are a renowned provider of aircraft maintenance and modification (AMM) services for commercial airlines and air freight operators. The Senior Manager Planning & Estimation shall be responsible to the Director Planning & Analysis for the day-to-day operation of ST Engineering – Pensacola Aerospace (Pensacola Aerospace) Planning Department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Aircraft Management or related field or equivalent in training, education and/or experience.
  • 3 years commercial maintenance planning, 5 years management experience required

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Marketing, Quality, Maintenance and Planning Departments to help organize competitive man-hour estimates for aircraft maintenance proposals, optimize utilization of resources, communicate status and plans to all departments, and control wastage of resources.
  • Assist and provide guidance to subordinates in proper procedures, methods and practices in their respective duties within Planning.
  • Direct all Planning activities to ensure that both Pensacola Aerospace and customers’ interests are maintained.
  • Ensure that areas under the Planning Department control are kept neat and clean.
  • Formulate and recommend policies and procedures dealing with proper planning functions.
  • Research, develop, plan and implement intermediate and long-range projects for the most effective utilization of departmental resources for the accomplishment of the planning management functions.
  • Develop, analyze, recommend and implement policies and procedures and system improvement within Planning.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Maintenance Departments on long range planning to achieve established goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with other departments on long range planning.
  • Plan maintenance activities to provide for minimum aircraft downtime and balanced workload.
  • Coordinate with the Director Quality and Director Engineering on the accomplishment of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and Engineering changes.
  • Administrate contracts which Pensacola Aerospace has entered into with customers, on matters relating to the interpretation of work contents, negotiation on Over and Above (O&A) works, pricing and budgeting of man-hours, estimation and the upkeep of statistics.
  • Coordinate overall work with other Departments / Customers / Vendors.
  • Accomplish any other assignment as directed by the Director Planning & Analysis.
