We’re looking for a Processing Archivist to support the care, organization, and long-term preservation of the company’s physical archival collection. In this r ole, you will ensure materials are preserved, organized, and discoverable, supporting enterprise access and reinforcing the integrity of one of the world’s most iconic brands. Requirements

• Master’s degree in Archival Studies, Library and I nformation Scienc e or a closely related field.
• 7+ years of experience in archival processing, physical collections management, and description.
• Demonstrated expertise with collections management systems, metadata standards, naming conventions, and controlled vocabularies.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience working with intellectual property considerations, sensitive materials, and governance or compliance requirements in an archival context.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, exercising professional judgment and balancing stakeholder needs.
• Experience leading project-based work, including the ability to scope, plan, and execute processing initiatives.
• Experience providing guidance or supervision to temporary staff, interns, or contractors.
• Tech fluency and openness to emerging digital tools, including artificial intelligence, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to communicate clearly and inclusively with diverse internal stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with preservation best practices for mixed-format collections.
• Demonstrated alignment to enterprise capabilities including systems thinking, stakeholder management, strategic communication, and collaboration.
• Growth mindset with an eagerness to continuously learn, solve challenges creatively, and contribute to long-term program sustainability.

Nice To Haves

• Corporate archives experience (preferred).
• Experience working within a corporate archives environment (pr eferred).
• Academy of Certified Archivists certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the arrangement, description, and processing of physical archival collections using professional archival standards, ensuring materials are discoverable, preserved, and aligned to Coca - Cola’ s governance expectations.
• Develop and apply processing methodologies, descriptive practices, and metadata standards that ensure accuracy, consistency, and operational efficiency.
• Manage the intake of new materials, performing assessments, documentation, and preparation to support lifecycle management and high-quality stewardship.
• Partner closely with the Registrar to maintain location tracking, inventory accuracy, and proper handling practices across diverse physical formats.
• Identify preservation or rights-related risks and escalate concerns to ensure the protection and responsible use of archival assets.
• Lead assigned processing projects by defining priorities, timelines, and workflows that ensure efficient and timely execution.
• Apply professional judgment in determining appropriate levels of processing, arrangement, and description based on material type, business needs, and long-term preservation considerations.
• Coordinate closely with Archives colleagues to align workflows across processing, digitization, and access functions to support enterprise reference needs.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight to contractors, interns, or temporary staff supporting collections processing or digitization activities.
• Develop internal documentation and standards to support scalable, repeatable practices across archival operations.
• Contribute subject matter leadership to conversations around enterprise governance, brand protection, and responsible stewardship of historical assets.
• Support cross-functional partners , such as brand, legal, and communications teams , by enablin g time ly access to physical archival materials for business initiatives.
• Maintain strong awareness of confidentiality, intellectual property considerations, privacy expectations, and restricted content guidelines associated with corporate archival materials.
• Champion operational excellence by improving workflows, applying continuous improvement practices, and leveraging emerging technologies and tools, including artificial intelligence where appropriate .
