About The Position

The Sr. Procurement Manager – Marketing supports a high volume of Marketing sourcing and contracting activity, partnering closely with Marketing stakeholders and Legal to enable speed to market while applying consistent, disciplined procurement processes. This role ensures Marketing sourcing aligns with broader Corporate Services standards, reducing friction for stakeholders while maintaining commercial rigor, compliance, and enterprise alignment. The role balances hands‑on execution with team leadership, serving as both a trusted stakeholder partner and a point of stability across fast‑moving Marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management experience, with direct experience supporting Marketing or professional services spend.
  • Demonstrated ability to review, negotiate, and redline commercial contract terms in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proven negotiation and contract management experience with complex service‑based suppliers.
  • Proven experience partnering cross‑functionally

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Sourcing & Contracting Execution Lead and support a high volume of Marketing sourcing activity, including agencies, media, production services, data, research, and campaign‑driven needs.
  • Execute sourcing events, negotiations, and renewals to meet aggressive timelines while maintaining consistent commercial and contractual standards.
  • Independently review and redline commercial contract terms, including pricing structures, payment terms, termination rights, service levels, and risk allocation, in partnership with Legal as appropriate.
  • Apply repeatable sourcing and contracting approaches across the Marketing vertical that align with how other Corporate Services categories operate.
  • Ensure agreements are clearly structured, commercially sound, and compliant with enterprise requirements.
  • Stakeholder Partnership Act as a primary procurement partner to Marketing stakeholders, helping teams engage procurement early and navigate sourcing and contracting efficiently.
  • Balance Marketing’s need for speed and flexibility with appropriate governance and risk management.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex, high‑risk, or time‑sensitive sourcing and contracting matters.
  • Process Consistency & Governance Reinforce consistent procurement processes across Marketing that align with broader Corporate Services standards.
  • Ensure sourcing documentation, approvals, and contracting requirements are followed across all Marketing activity.
  • Support visibility into upcoming renewals and sourcing demand to reduce last‑minute escalations and execution risk.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Marketing sourcing workflows and stakeholder experience.
  • People Leadership & Team Support Provide guidance and support to Category Managers executing Marketing sourcing activity.
  • Coach team members on setting and executing negotiation strategies, commercial term redlining, and stakeholder engagement as needed.
  • Help prioritize work and remove blockers during peak workload periods.
  • Support consistent execution quality across the Marketing procurement portfolio.
