About The Position

The Senior Manager of Product Development is responsible for leading the execution of product development initiatives for key customer accounts and strategic product programs. This role oversees the end-to-end development process—from concept through commercialization—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within cost targets, and in alignment with customer expectations and company standards. You will partner closely with Sales, Design, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to coordinate cross-functional development activities, guide product decisions, and ensure successful delivery of product programs. This role serves as the central point of coordination across internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to manage development timelines, sampling, costing, and launch readiness. The Senior Manager will also play an important role in strengthening Anisa’s product development execution capabilities by driving process discipline, managing multiple development programs simultaneously, and supporting continuous improvement in development workflows and collaboration across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Marketing, Business, Industrial Design, or related field (Masters preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in product development within beauty, luxury goods, fashion, CPG, or related industries
  • Demonstrated success executing strategic product development for major B2B customers
  • Deep understanding of the full product lifecycle, from concept to commercialization
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate customer needs and data into strategic product direction
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management capabilities.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to lead multiple complex programs simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, Monday.com, and Box is preferred
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Responsibilities

  • Execute the product development roadmap for assigned accounts.
  • Lead end-to-end development of key programs, ensuring milestones, costing, sampling, validation, and launch readiness are achieved.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to support product design, development, testing, and commercialization.
  • Support product lifecycle activities including product updates, improvements, and new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with Sales and internal stakeholders to gather customer requirements and support product development initiatives.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to support development activities and ensure product quality, manufacturability, and cost alignment.
  • Support supply chain validation to ensure product feasibility and consistent production capability.
  • Manage product development projects from concept through launch, ensuring on-time delivery and margin alignment.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and development progress using tools such as Salesforce and Monday.
  • Serve as the primary coordination point between internal teams (AIUS, AITJ), the Plant, suppliers, and customers during development activities.
  • Coordinate customer samples, product quote requests, and documentation approvals to support development timelines.
  • Review product drawings, specifications, and samples to ensure accuracy and readiness for customer submission or production.
  • Identify and resolve project execution challenges while maintaining development schedules and quality expectations.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve development processes.
