About The Position

Role summary: The Senior Manager, Replenishment and Inventory Solutions leads enterprise-wide inventory planning and supply strategies to optimize product availability, cost, and speed. This role directs cross-functional collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless inventory flows, effective allocation, and proactive disruption management. By driving root cause analysis and continuous improvement, the position enhances inventory health and operational performance. The role also provides strategic leadership in team development, execution of business plans, and alignment of inventory initiatives with organizational goals, fostering accountability and innovation across the supply network. About the team: The Merchandising Execution team ensures the right products are available at the right place and time, supporting customer needs across all shopping channels. Collaborating closely with Merchants, the team translates assortment strategies into actionable plans that enhance inventory productivity, in-stock performance, and financial outcomes. Operating at an enterprise scale, the team drives critical inventory, service, and profitability decisions in a dynamic environment. Their work directly influences the customer experience by optimizing inventory flows, forecasting, and strategic planning to maintain product availability and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in inventory management, supply chain planning, and inventory forecasting within complex retail environments.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic supplier partnerships and execute lifecycle inventory planning to optimize sales and profitability.
  • Strong expertise in root cause analysis and driving corrective actions to resolve replenishment and inventory challenges.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration to align inventory strategies across merchandising, sourcing, and operations.
  • Skilled in leveraging enterprise systems and data analysis to enhance inventory health and operational efficiency.
  • Experience in supervising and developing teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on execution excellence and risk mitigation in inventory flows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, data analytics, or related area and 5 years’ experience in supply chain, merchandising, engineering, business, data analytics, or related area.
  • 7 years’ experience in supply chain, merchandising, engineering, business, data analytics, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead lifecycle inventory planning to optimize sales, profitability, and customer availability through strategic supplier partnerships and execution excellence.
  • Oversee launch forecasts, seasonal and promotional planning, ensuring inventory aligns with enterprise objectives and merchandising priorities.
  • Drive root cause analysis and recovery plans to resolve out-of-stock challenges and improve inventory health.
  • Manage network-wide inventory flows, balancing availability, cost, and speed across channels and markets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to embed inventory strategies that reduce costs and enhance supply chain performance.
  • Develop and mentor associates, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and high standards in replenishment and inventory management.
