About The Position

The Senior Manager, Social Media at Major League Fishing (MLF) is responsible for developing and executing the organization's social media strategy. This role requires extensive experience in social media management and content creation, a thorough understanding of the tournament bass-fishing industry, and the ability to drive engagement, growth and monetization across all social media platforms. This role requires a creative and strategic leader with demonstrated ability to work and manage in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in social media management.
  • Proficiency in social media tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency in content creation for digital platforms
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Knowledge of the tournament bass-fishing industry.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification or additional degree.
  • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies.
  • Lead and manage the social media team to achieve engagement and growth goals.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of content across all social media platforms.
  • Ensure all social media content aligns with MLF’s brand and messaging.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate social media strategies with overall marketing and communications plans.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance and provide reports on key metrics.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging social media platforms.
  • Facilitate and manage relationships with external content creators and influencers.
  • Develop and manage social media budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Additional duties as assigned
