About Team: Sam's Club is our membership warehouse club, a business model that provides our members with high-quality products at prices that are unrivaled by traditional retail. Our Catalog Engineering team has built a highly scalable Omni Catalog Service. You will work on NextGen upstream integration, catalog migration to a new platform, and develop highly scalable catalog micro services. You’ll independently handle high impact, critical software/systems monitoring issues, troubleshoot business and production issues. As a member of this fast-moving and highly entrepreneurial team, you’ll be able to say that you work for the world’s largest retailer and contribute to innovation and development to best-in-class methodologies that impacted perception and drastically changed business as we know it. As a Senior Manager, Software Engineering part of Sam’s Global Technologies Team, you will make an impact by: Building and leading teams: Set and manage globally distributed engineering teams Providing cross-functional leadership: Working cross-functionally with product, engineering, program, and business teams to deliver omni-solutions across Sam’s Tech Developing and executing plans: Drive the execution of multiple business plans and tech initiatives. Effectively communicate execution, capacity, resource plans, and priorities Building strategic relationships: Partner with peer teams to help design omni-presence solution across clubs and online Operating with excellence: Set an example in managing code quality via reviews, coverage, automation for core application and peer teams.
