These products include over 50 categories. Examples are toys, apparel, books, theme parks, and hotels. The organization is home to world-class teams of licensing and retail experts, artists, storytellers, and technologists who inspire imaginations around the world. The Paramount Products & Experiences Strategy team identifies, studies, and develops strategic initiatives. These initiatives aim to boost long-term profitability and growth for the business globally. The Sr. Manager, Strategy will support the development and execution of the growth strategy for Paramount Products & Experiences. The role requires solid strategic and analytical thinking. It also needs top-notch modeling skills. The successful candidate will possess the ability to interface appropriately with multiple levels of management across the business and Paramount.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in strategic planning, consulting, banking, or relevant industry/function.
  • Great quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling.
  • High-quality strategic and business acumen.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, particularly the ability to develop arguments and present them concisely to a range of stakeholders, including executives.
  • Proficient work ethic and attention to detail.

  • Preferred MBA.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on new business opportunities, new media platforms, and expanding into new geographic areas.
  • Proactively identify new growth opportunities (e.g., new product categories/channels, alternate business models, emerging trends).
  • Build financial and analytical models. These models will help with various strategic opportunities. They will also support potential acquisitions and other financial deals.
  • Identify, define, and analyze trends/strategies across major markets in relation to the consumer products (e.g., toys, apparel, home, CPG), publishing, and experiences (e.g., theme parks) industries.
  • In partnership with Retail Analytics, identify areas of research and perform appropriate qualitative and quantitative analyses; perform primary and secondary research as needed.
  • Help create engaging presentation materials and share important learnings, outcomes, strategies, and recommendations.
  • Participate in a variety of meetings with professionalism and credibility.
