Foley & Lardner LLP is currently seeking a Senior Manager of Systems Integration & Support to join our Technology department! The Senior Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the Systems Integration Engineer, and Architect team, ensuring that all endpoint systems are designed, delivered, and operated to meet enterprise standards for performance, efficiency, and security. Position is responsible for the development and ongoing management of comprehensive, enterprise-wide quality assurance and testing processes for systems. Position is also responsible for the planning, direction and implementation of proactive operational monitoring to ensure the reliability and sustained performance of endpoint systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant technology experience with a minimum of three (3) years in a people management or supervisor role required
  • Experience with Microsoft InTune or another enterprise endpoint management platform required
  • Experience with Microsoft Autopilot required
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop and Entra ID services required
  • Experience with system and application deployments and system and event monitoring systems needed
  • Previous experience managing vendor relationships needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with testing, quality assurance or six sigma programs strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Systems Integration Engineering and Architecture technology team, including responsibility for professional development & mentoring, performance reviews, performance management, compensation, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Technology Managers and other key stakeholders to ensure the consistent delivery of reliable, secure, and high-performing endpoint systems on both Apple OS and Microsoft Windows technologies.
  • Service Excellence: Ensure that all endpoint systems are engineered and supported to deliver a high-quality, consistent user experience, while proactively accounting for all possible operational scenarios.
  • Management of Endpoint Systems: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of endpoint systems, ensuring they are secure and efficient.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations, implementing measures to protect endpoint systems.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Lead the development and execution of dedicated quality assurance and application testing programs that can identify and resolve potential system issues before new technologies are introduced into production.
  • System Performance Monitoring: Create dedicated practices for endpoint performance monitoring that can identify system problems on systems already in production. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the user experience.
  • Innovation and Technology: Remain current with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in endpoint management to bring innovative solutions to the organization.

  • Ensure assigned teams fully comply with firm, technology, and information security policies and procedures.
  • Identify goals, objectives, priorities, and initiatives in alignment with the department’s mission and goals, developing strategies to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Provide strong, positive leadership within the department, directing the development, coordination, and evaluation of programs, work plans, priorities and evaluation criteria while in progress and at completion to ensure quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that superior and responsive service is provided to customers (both internal and external to the Technology Department); investigate and resolve complaints and concerns related to the department’s areas and activities.
  • Serve as a departmental representative and liaison with the other firm departments to ensure involvement, alignment, and communication on processes that impact the Technology Department’s goals and mission.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures and systems, contributing to the problem solving, decision making, and strategic planning activities of the department
  • Organize, coordinate, and lead departmental teams to identify needs, manage special assignments, enhance communication, and foster sustained team effectiveness and employee empowerment.
  • Participate in the development and management of the annual Technology Department budget, acting within authorized budget limits to meet firm needs.
  • Travel regularly to visit Foley offices, attend conferences. and meet with vendors as necessary.
