Job Summary The Senior Manager, Warehouse is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing warehouse operations at a Mesa Power Solutions location that supports high-mix, low volume assembly and service activities. This role ensures the accurate and efficient receiving, counting, movement, consumption and shipping of parts to maintain inventory integrity and support production and service schedules. Above all else, the Senior Manager, Warehouse will be expected to maintain a safe working environment focusing on hazard identification and mitigation and proper behaviors toward safety with our team members. The Senior Manager, Warehouse leads the warehouse team, drives continuous improvement, and aligns site-level warehouse operations with broader supply chain and business objectives. This position plays a critical role in optimizing material flow, enhancing operational performance, and supporting the company’s financial and production goals.

Requirements

  • Required 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university (or 8 years of Supply Chain leadership experience in lieu of a degree).
  • 15 years warehouse management experience, preferably in a high-mix, low to medium volume manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • 8 years of leadership experience, including direct supervision and development of teams.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material flow in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Deep understanding of lean principles including replenishment strategies, pull, custom supply solutions, single-piece-flow
  • Expertise in ERP and warehouse management systems, with the ability to analyze data and generate operational reports.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple locations, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
  • Skilled in identifying process inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions to improve accuracy and throughput.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional and executive teams.
  • Ability to interpret and apply safety regulations, company policies, and compliance standards.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a focus on operational excellence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Professional presentation skills effective across the enterprise and with external entities.
  • Must be able to fluently speak, write, and read in English.

Responsibilities

  • Manages daily warehouse operations at the assigned location to ensure alignment with production and assembly schedules.
  • Oversees the receiving, counting, and documentation of incoming parts and materials.
  • Ensures the timely movement of parts from warehouse storage to the assembly or service floor to support uninterrupted production.
  • Leads and develops the warehouse team, including oversight of supervisors, workforce planning, training, and performance management.
  • Establishes and enforces inventory control processes to maintain accuracy, accountability, and transaction discipline.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean practices, to improve material flow, space utilization, and labor efficiency.
  • Leverages ERP and warehouse management systems to manage inventory, analyze performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborates with site leadership and cross-functional teams (production, planning, procurement, inventory control) to resolve material issues and support operational priorities.
  • Develops, monitors, and reports key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate warehouse performance and drive operational excellence
  • Ensures consistent cadence of reporting of all warehouse related KPI's.
  • This is very much a builder role not a custodian role at this time. Experience building processes, strategies, teams, a rhythm and a daily/weekly/monthly cadence is required.
  • Experience setting high expectations, knowing what best-in-class looks like and setting a glidepath and action plan to get there.
  • Demonstrated track record of change management and transformation required.
