This position works out of our Temecula, CA location in the Abbott Vascular Devices division. Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease. Senior Manufacturing Engineer : Specialist professional individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the area of pharmaceutical/biological processes. Demonstrates the ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects. Adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions. What You'll Work On As the Specialist in the Pharmaceutical/Biological Process Sub‑Function, serves as a highly experienced and knowledgeable resource within the organization in implementing and maintaining pharmaceutical/biological processes.
Requirements
- Education: Associate’s degree (± 13 years
- Experience: Minimum 7 years
Responsibilities
- Calculates and organizes all data for complex process flow sheets, including instrumentation and control considerations.
- Models processes and unit operations.
- Ensures proper sequence of operations and prepares specifications and operating instructions for processing equipment.
- Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over variables such as temperature, density, pressure, and viscosity.
- Services, troubleshoots, and resolves engineering problems with processes or equipment already in operation.
- Ensures processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations.
- May be responsible for corrective and preventive actions and investigation management.
