About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst (level 5) to support the Military Delivery Center and P8 Operations in Tukwila, WA! The Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst will lead the strategy, deployment, and sustainment of Line Side Control Center (LSCC) across MDC. Additionally, they will serve as a people leader and functional owner to translate Lean/BPS strategy into measurable results, build capability, standardize practices, and partner with senior leaders to ensure stable, predictable production.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in manufacturing or manufacturing support
  • 5+ years applying LEAN/Continuous Improvement tools and practices (e.g., BPS)
  • 5+ years communicating with employees, customers, peers and multiple leadership levels
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Lead LSCC program strategy, roadmap, governance, scorecards and executive reporting.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Lean/LSCC practitioners; set objectives and drive accountability
  • Operationalize data analytics and LSCC KPIs (including defect trend analysis) into Oobeya to prioritize actions and resource allocation
  • Design and deploy training, instructional materials, and coaching curricula to scale capability
  • Lead complex cross-functional improvement initiatives using advanced Lean/BPS tools; remove barriers to implementation
  • Capture, replicate and scale innovations and best practices; standardize related enterprise policies and procedures
  • Represent Lean/continuous improvement in program reviews and strategic forums; influence senior stakeholders
  • Manage program budget, resources and contractor engagements as applicable; provide on-site rotational support across sites
