Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in field service management or related technical role.
  • Strong mechanical, electric and hydraulic systems knowledge.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Ability to travel as needed for field operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manure handling or agricultural equipment industry.
  • Familiarity with ERP/dealer business systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support Dealership Service Team(s): Support dealership service managers and mentor dealership service technicians, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Customer Support: Provide expert technical assistance to dealerships, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Operational Oversight: Facilitate with warranty requests, resource allocation, and service delivery to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of manure handling systems, spreader tanks, lagoon pumps, electric pumps, separation, manure system design and related equipment.
  • Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety protocols and environmental regulations during all service activities.
  • Training & Development: Conduct training for dealer technicians and internal manure employees on equipment operation, maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product Management and T&I/Engineering teams to support product launches and resolve technical challenges.
  • Reporting: Track service metrics, prepare performance reports, and recommend process improvements.
