Role and Responsibilities Senior Marketing Manager will be directly responsible for hitting the customer acquisition goal by managing a complex ecosystem of stakeholders – including an external marketing agency, our bank partner, and payment network partner, Samsung HQ teams, and internal marketing teams within Samsung Electronics America. The goal is to ensure marketing workstreams are executed with precision, while navigating the requirements of a multi-partner environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
  • 7–13 Years of Experience: Proven track record in marketing management and/or partnership marketing
  • Launch Experience: Experience managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder product launches (GTM) from conception to execution.
  • Agency Management: Deep understanding of how to brief, manage, and hold external creative/media agencies accountable for performance.
  • Technical & Functional Skills: Strategic Project Management Performance Marketing

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or Advanced Degree is a plus (ideally with a focus on Marketing) as it demonstrates the strategic framework needed to manage complex P&Ls and partnerships.
  • Fintech or Financial Services (Preferred): Familiarity with the credit card industry, issuing bank dynamics, or payment networks (Visa/Mastercard) is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • GTM Strategy: Develop a comprehensive GTM strategy that outlines the target audience, value proposition, marketing and sales channels, and offer strategy for the new products and features.
  • End-to-End GTM Orchestration: Lead the day-to-day execution of the co-branded card launch roadmap, ensuring all marketing workstreams stay on track for the the go-live and post-launch. Develope comprehensive product positioning and messaging and continuously refine based on market response and customer feedback. Partner with Marketing Manager and Product Manager to develop internal and client-facing product marketing collaterals.
  • Agency Management: Act as the primary point of contact for the marketing agency; review all strategies and campaign assets to ensure they meet business goals and acquisition targets.
  • Stakeholder Management & Alignment: Navigate complex internal and external approval layers, acting as the bridge between Samsung HQ (Korea), various teams in Samsung Electronics America, the issuing bank, and Visa.
  • Partner Accountability: Manage the relationship with the issuing bank and payment network to ensure all campaign materials are compliant, brand-aligned, and approved on schedule.
  • Cross-Functional Navigation: Independently identify and engage with internal teams (Legal, Product, Finance, etc.) to clear bottlenecks and secure necessary resources for marketing execution.
  • Manage Quarterly Business Reviews with the bank and network partner, as well as the internal leadership team.
  • Plan an annual marketing plan, including budget, and communicate with the leadership team and execute, working with internal and external partners.
  • Acquisition Monitoring: Closely track campaign performance against acquisition KPIs, providing regular status updates and working with the agency to optimize tactics in real-time.
  • Perform market research and conduct analysis to evaluate market trends, competitor intelligence, and customer behavior to recommend product improvements and the development of new products
