About The Position
Our technicians are paid on a clock-time basis with bonus opportunities rather than flat-rate , allowing the team to support one another and focus on quality diagnostics and repairs without the pressure of chasing flag hours. This is a busy shop with plenty of work , and the team participates in shop performance bonuses , so everyone shares in the store’s success. Requirements
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic skilled in diagnostics
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- A desire for long-term career development
Responsibilities
- Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guests
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns
- Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
