Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the mechanical engineering in the field
  • Extensive expertise with pumps, valves, fans, heat exchangers, and/or HVAC
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, but typically ranging from 1-5 days
  • Must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced with mechanical evaluations and permitting in support of Sections 316(a) and 316(b) of the Clean Water Act preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and support mechanical engineering products, including calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Provide training and guidance to develop expertise in key mechanical engineering areas like fluid mechanics, HVAC, and heat exchangers
  • Conduct subject matter expert reviews to ensure engineering product excellence
  • Partner with diverse engineering groups to deliver customer-focused projects and drive business growth
  • Participate in site walkdowns to identify practical, cost-effective design solutions
  • Collaborate across multi-disciplined teams to tackle complex projects and deliver forward-thinking solutions
