About The Position

This is an execution-first media activation role supporting an agency team managing increased campaign volume for a significant new piece of business. The Senior Media Activation Specialist will own the setup, launch, and ongoing optimization of paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok — operating independently with minimal oversight from day one. This role sits within a lean, fast-moving team and requires someone who can hit the ground running, manage high volume across multiple campaigns simultaneously, and deliver results efficiently. The ideal candidate brings agency-side rigor, a strong command of paid media platforms, and the confidence to execute a media plan without handholding. Please note: This engagement involves work with a technology client. Candidates will be asked to disclose any existing non-compete agreements or NDAs that may conflict with this work as part of the onboarding process.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on paid media experience with a strong emphasis on activation and execution
  • Proven expertise managing campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok
  • Agency-side experience strongly preferred — comfort with fast-paced, high-volume environments is essential
  • Experience managing campaigns focused on volume, activation, and click efficiency
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple workstreams without sacrificing quality
  • Clear, concise communicator — async-friendly and responsive

Responsibilities

  • Set up, launch, and manage paid media campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads
  • Own day-to-day activation, pacing, and budget management across platforms
  • Monitor performance and make real-time optimizations to drive efficient delivery — with a focus on volume management, click efficiency, and overall activation (note: pixel/conversion optimization is not the primary focus)
  • Track and report on campaign performance against key metrics
  • Identify and act on optimization opportunities across active campaigns
  • Communicate performance updates and flag issues proactively to internal stakeholders
  • Manage a high volume of simultaneous campaigns with precision and care
  • Operate autonomously within an established media plan, escalating only when necessary
  • Collaborate async-first with a distributed team across time zones
