About The Position

We are currently seeking a Senior Medical Technologist to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Medical Technologist at ICON, you will play a critical role in conducting complex laboratory analyses and tests to support clinical trials and research studies. You will ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and maintain high-quality standards. What You Will Be Doing: Performing advanced laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements. Overseeing laboratory operations, including sample processing, equipment maintenance, and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with accreditation standards. Collaborating with clinical research teams to support study design and implement laboratory methods that align with project goals. Interpreting and validating test results, providing technical expertise, and troubleshooting any laboratory issues that may arise. Training and mentoring junior laboratory staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the laboratory environment. Participating in the development and implementation of laboratory protocols, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory compliance. Assisting with audits and inspections by providing documentation and demonstrating adherence to laboratory standards and practices. Staying current with advances in laboratory technologies and methodologies, ensuring the laboratory employs cutting-edge practices. Your Profile: Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., ASCP, AMT) is a plus. Extensive experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with a strong understanding of laboratory operations and quality assurance processes. Proven ability to perform complex laboratory tests and analyses, with expertise in specific areas of medical technology. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and electronic medical records (EMR). Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and ethical practices in laboratory operations. Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call responsibilities as needed. Requirements
