About The Position

Woolpert is hiring a Dynamics 365 CE Technical Liaison / Senior Techno‑Functional Consultant to join our dynamic Corporate Applications Team. This position reports to the Senior Dynamics 365 Architect and is responsible for technical and functional expertise to design, implement, customize, and integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Power Platform solutions. The CE Technical Liaison serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating business needs into scalable, well‑architected CRM solutions while ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business process owners and end users, facilitating effective communication between functional teams and developers—particularly for enhancement requests, custom development, integrations, and automation scenarios. This role requires strong CE domain knowledge, technical depth, and the ability to guide solutions from discovery through deployment and ongoing optimization..

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and end users to gather, analyze, and document CRM and Power Platform requirements, ensuring clarity of scope and alignment with Dynamics 365 CE capabilities.
  • Analyze customer‑facing business processes (sales, service, marketing, case management), identify gaps or inefficiencies, and recommend improvements aligned with Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform best practices.
  • Design and propose scalable, secure, and maintainable Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions, considering performance, extensibility, governance, and future growth.
  • Configure and customize Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions, including entities/tables, forms, views, business rules, workflows, plugins, JavaScript, security roles, and model‑driven or canvas apps. Provide technical guidance and initial assessments to support accurate effort estimation and delivery timelines.
  • Design and support integrations between Dynamics 365 CE and external systems using APIs, Dataverse, and Azure Integration Services. Implement automation using Power Automate and Copilot Studio to streamline business processes.
  • Investigate and resolve complex system issues, data inconsistencies, and user‑reported problems using a disciplined, analytical, and persistent problem‑solving approach.
  • Lead and participate in testing activities, including system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate system changes, and support controlled deployments using Azure DevOps and Power Platform pipelines.
  • Provide end‑user training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform enhancements.
  • Work closely with development teams, architects, and external partners to prioritize enhancements, manage releases, and maintain solution quality, security, and stability.
