Requirements

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field to be obtained May of 2026
  • Experience with Guidance, Navigation, and control concepts
  • Experience with GNSS signal processing
  • Experience with Designing implementing and analyzing estimators and/or controllers for various applications (e.g. Kalman filters for orbit determination)
  • Experience with MATLAB, Pythin, C++ or other modeling and data analysis
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Per the U.S. Government’s eligibility requirements, you must be a U.S Citizen to be considered for a security clearance
  • This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with GNSS threat detection and mitigation
  • Experience with array signal processing
  • Extensive professional engagement (e.g. recent publication, conference presentations)
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret or higher clearance

Responsibilities

  • Modeling, simulation, and analysis of PNT technologies
  • Testing of PNT technologies and data analysis of experimental results
  • Play a key technical role on one or more projects within MITRE’s existing PNT work program
