Job Description Senior .Net Developers are r esponsible for the d esign, develop ment , and maintenance of scalable applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework , and related technologies. Integrations with SASS environments and third-party resources may be necessary dependent upon the solution. They will collabora te with cross-functional teams and ensur e the performance and security of applications and integrations as well as adherence to code and security policies . Additionally , the Senior Developer will provide lead technical support and serve as a mentor for junior developers and other team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science - Computer and Information Science, Development and Maintenance
  • Develop scalable applications using C#, ASP.NET, .Net Framework and related technologies.
  • Equivalent relevant experience (5-7 years)
  • Relevant experience (3-6 years)

Responsibilities

  • Design, development, and maintenance of scalable applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and related technologies.
  • Integrate with SASS environments and third-party resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure the performance and security of applications and integrations.
  • Adhere to code and security policies.
  • Provide lead technical support.
  • Serve as a mentor for junior developers and other team members.
  • Maintain existing solutions, paying attention to any new security items and keeping applications technologically relevant.
  • Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing software applications to meet changing user requirements.
  • Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Work with vendors of 3rd party software to resolve issues.
  • Write and perform comprehensive tests of solutions as individual units as well as the complete lifecycle.
  • Communicate accurate and timely status and issues to management.
  • Document code and processes in accordance with existing policies and procedures.
  • Plan, recommend, test, and implement solutions developed.
  • Maintain existing solutions and integrations ensuring application availability.
  • Integrate applications with databases, external APIs and potential third-party/SASS resources.
  • Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural guidance for complex projects.
  • Participate and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
