About The Position

Our client, a leading service provider specializing in satellite and cellular technologies , is seeking a Senior Network Architect (CCIE) to take ownership of a complex, multi-site network environment. This is a highly visible, high-impact role where you will drive architecture strategy, scalability, and performance across a Layer 2/3 infrastructure supporting critical connectivity services. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on architect who enjoys operating at both a strategic and technical level—someone who can design robust networks while also rolling up their sleeves to troubleshoot and optimize in real time. You’ll play a key role in modernizing and scaling an infrastructure of ~100 devices across multiple locations, with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and performance. Requirements

Active CCIE certification required
Extensive experience designing and supporting Layer 2/3 network environments required
Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco and Ubiquiti networking equipment required
Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS) required
Experience with network security principles and firewall technologies required
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, high-level network issues required

Responsibilities

Design and architect scalable, high-performance Layer 2/3 network infrastructure
Develop and maintain network diagrams, documentation, and SOPs
Configure and optimize Cisco and Ubiquiti switches and routers
Serve as the escalation point for complex network troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Ensure network security, compliance, and adherence to best practices
Monitor network performance and proactively drive optimization initiatives
Lead network upgrades, expansions, and infrastructure improvements
Collaborate cross-functionally to support service delivery and system integrations
