About The Position

Global Payroll and timekeeping is a highly efficient and vibrant team focused on creating an environment dedicated to providing seamless, accurate and timely pay delivery to our employees globally. The incumbent will be responsible for driving end-to-end payroll improvement initiatives including process optimization, compliance improvements, quality refinements and technology enhancements. This role partners closely with our stakeholders including HR, IT, Finance and external vendors to deliver scalable, accurate and compliant payroll solutions while improving efficiency, quality and employee experience. We are looking for someone with a progressive experience in payroll operations and a solid background in leading payroll transformation initiatives. A proven ability to drive stakeholder engagement, lead change management and design and deliver strategic improvements to payroll operations, quality and governance in a complex payroll environment.

Requirements

  • Advance experience in payroll, benefits and HRIS administration
  • Thorough knowledge of hourly and salaried payroll processes and systems
  • Proven ability to lead payroll transformation, modernization and standardization
  • Expertise in current-state assessment and future-state process design
  • Strong project and change management skills
  • Ability to lead cross functional project teams and balance multiple projects
  • Strategic problem solving and decision making
  • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills
  • Data storytelling: ability to analyze data and communicate insights
  • Familiarity with AI concepts/tools
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Self-starter capable of taking initiative and proactively driving solutions
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, IT
  • 5 to 8 years of progressive payroll experience leading payroll improvement initiatives
  • Exposure to process improvements, automation and system implementations
  • Familiarity with HRIS/payroll integrations and data flows
  • Hands-on experience managing end-to-end payroll cycles
  • Experience working with Payroll/HR systems such as ADP, SAP, Workday, UKG
  • Basic understanding of AI concepts and tools

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing
  • Lead end-to-end payroll process redesign, standardization and simplification
  • Identify inefficiencies, control gaps and payroll error drivers
  • Reduce manual work, cycle time and operational complexity
  • Review and validate payroll data
  • Handle off-cycle payrolls, bonuses and adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll regulations
  • Monitor and enforce internal controls to reduce risk and improve quality
  • Lead change management efforts including communications, training and adoption strategies
  • Align payroll initiatives with broader HR, Finance and Digital strategies
  • Partner with HRIS, IT and external vendors to optimize systems and integrations
  • Contribute to the strategic direction based on internal and industry knowledge
  • Build productive working relationships with end-to-end process stakeholders such as HR, Benefits, IT, Finance and external vendors
  • Develop enhanced quality controls and monitoring solutions to strengthen payroll operations
