About The Position

Welcome to Brightline! We are searching for a Senior People Business Partner, Care Teams to act as a skilled people partner and advisor to our Care leadership team. This role sits at the intersection of people strategy and business performance, supporting our organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and talent needs to enable exceptional care delivery. The ideal candidate brings broad HR & People expertise, exercises sound independent judgment, and partners effectively with leaders across the Care team and broader organization.

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience in high-growth, matrixed, or dynamic environments - with at least 3 years supporting clinical, healthcare, or field operations teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an HR-related field and/or HR certification preferred.
  • Solid experience in organizational design, change management, and coaching managers and directors through complex people challenges.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and employee relations best practices, with a balanced, business-oriented mindset.
  • Experience partnering with operations leaders in high-growth, matrixed environments (healthcare, tech, or SaaS strongly preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills - able to diagnose workforce trends, connect people data to business outcomes, and design interventions that drive measurable improvement
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and influence skills; able to connect with stakeholders across functions and levels, including outside of core People and Care, to drive people outcomes.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to zoom out on vision and zoom in on details when needed.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity, driving clarity, and leading through change.
  • Willingness to travel to New York and California in alignment with Care Team needs.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to organizational strategy discussions by bringing a people perspective and translating leadership priorities into actionable People plans.
  • Anticipate workforce challenges and proactively develop strategies that enable growth, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Translate clinical operational challenges (staffing, care model evolution, etc.) into actionable people strategies.
  • Execute against people strategies that support care delivery goals, applying independent judgment in selecting the right approaches and methods.
  • Support and execute organizational design efforts, applying expertise in structures, roles, and spans/layers to recommend and implement effective solutions.
  • Assess organizational capabilities and design interventions that enhance clarity, efficiency, and collaboration.
  • Advise leaders on aligning talent, resources, and operating models with evolving business needs.
  • Develop, apply, and refine People policies and programs that address the specific needs of care team operations, ensuring consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • Act as a coach and trusted advisor to clinical leaders and managers, strengthening their ability to lead high-performing care teams through growth and change.
  • Partner with managers and directors on leadership effectiveness, talent development, and succession planning, escalating complex executive-level matters as appropriate.
  • Provide well-reasoned, data-informed recommendations to leaders on people matters, adapting communication style to build credibility and influence outcomes.
  • Support leaders in navigating organizational change tied to growth, new service lines, or shifts in care delivery models, executing change plans with minimal direction.
  • Ensure adoption of new structures and strategies is smooth, aligned, and culturally consistent.
  • Model and reinforce Brightline's mission and values in day-to-day partnership with care teams, particularly during periods of growth and transition.
  • Partner with Clinical Recruiting teams to ensure hiring strategy supports both growth targets, and quality of hire, and workforce readiness.
  • Leverage people and business data to inform decisions, connecting workforce insights with clinical and operational metrics.
  • Provide leaders with clear, actionable recommendations that drive performance and employee engagement.
  • ​Own people-related outcomes for the Care organization, including retention, engagement, and workforce readiness metrics, and partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Clinical Operations to drive results through influence rather than direct authority.
