A Day in the Life: As a Senior Philanthropy Officer at the Arizona Humane Society, your day revolves around building and deepening relationships with high-capacity donors and prospects to advance our mission and long-term vision. You'll manage a portfolio of approximately 200 supporters, securing gifts ranging from $25,000 to $100,000+ while identifying and cultivating opportunities for major and transformational gifts. From crafting personalized engagement plans to confidently making compelling asks, you'll connect donors to initiatives that matter most and help drive AHS' strategic growth. You'll also lead thoughtful stewardship efforts, ensuring donors feel valued, informed, and inspired to continue their support. This includes regular outreach, personalized communications, and honoring donor recognition and naming commitments. Collaborating closely with the Director of Individual Giving and the broader team, you'll contribute to fundraising strategy, campaign planning, and long-term portfolio growth making a tangible impact on the animals we serve every day.
