MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Senior Principal Applications Delivery Network Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the customer’s mission. You will play a crucial role in delivering advanced solutions and strategic insight to optimize the customers enterprise environment. · Proven expertise in managing, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and updating application delivery and/or load balancing systems. · Evaluate and recommend network optimization and application acceleration techniques. · Extensive experience with application delivery and/or load balancing systems across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud-based environments. · Use advanced tools and analytics to diagnose and resolve issues related to application delivery. · Proficient in using automation and orchestration for streamlined maintenance and monitoring of application delivery and/or load balancing systems. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in application delivery and network engineering.
- Extensive knowledge of ADN technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, load balancing, and security best practices.
- Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret and SCI eligible
- Location: Onsite
- Required: US Citizenship
- Required: DoD 8140 IAT II compliant
Nice To Haves
- Relevant certifications (e.g., F5 Certified Tech Expert/Specialist, Citrix Certified Associate/Professional in AppsDS, Citrix NetScaler, Azure/AWS Admin) are preferred.
